Logline:
An extremist law enforcer takes his absurd brand of vigilante justice on self-propelled water-skis and stirs up the waters in the rural community of Rainy Lake.

Synopsis

In the absence of the legendary lake law enforcer, the rural US/Canadian border town of Rainy Lake is overrun by the drug lord Diego Salazar. The incorrigible Lake Cop, Roderick Fischer, reluctantly returns, not to restore order to the lake, but to investigate sinking pH levels. Meanwhile, local business magnate Clint Sheppard is running for mayor in order to protect his own underground racket and eliminate both Salazar and the Lake Cop at the same time. Salazar and Sheppard vie for control of the Native American territory outside police jurisdiction. Roderick gets netted between the two while falling for a local environmentalist. Roderick’s jurisdiction is wherever water goes, so he splashes first and asks questions never, leaving a path of destruction in his wake. He brings down Salazar, uncovers Sheppard’s smuggling operation in his frozen fish shipments, and overcomes his own internal demons. The Lake Cop always gets his catch.

Rod also holds dual citizenship with the US, making him an international force to be reckoned with. They say still waters run deep. Well this phrase is no truer than for the Lake Cop. Traumatized by subaquatic forces in his childhood, a whitewater rages under his stern demeanor that sometimes spills over the precipice and maims his enemies Trained by the best, Roderick is the best. Endowed with both the subtle infiltration techniques and the sheer cutting power of water, he can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.
